The Sambhavna Trust Clinic in Bhopal, funded by the Bhopal Medical Appeal, uses yoga as one of the treatments for survivors of the Bhopal Disaster, 33 years ago. Yoga is used to treat chronic diseases involving the respiratory, musculo-skeletal, neurological and endocrine systems, and serious gynaecological problems.

On 1st December, Adele Robertson led a yoga session at Pilton Village Hall, to awaken compassion and the heart centre. The class was followed by refreshments, a raffle and a showing of the film ‘Sambhavna’ about the Bhopal Disaster and the work of the Clinic. Adele would like to thank everyone who supported the event, which raised a fantastic £620, especially Fiona Case, PWMC Ltd for providing the space and film equipment, and Andy Reilly for his time helping us get the film rolling. Also thanks to those who purchased T Shirts (still available from http://bhopal.org/yoga-teeshirt). Adele Robertson
