Pilton People – BUY the BOOK

There are many new people in the village now who might perhaps be interested in the history of the place they have moved into.

bookIn 2012 an illustrated book (192 pages, 242 photos both b/w and colour) was published to mark the Diamond Jubilee, lightheartedly surveying the years 1952-2012 through the memories and recollections of village characters past and present.

For newcomers and those who may have missed out first time around, this is still in print and available from Pilton Post Office when open, or from Jenny de Gex (01749 890465) Priced at £7.50 it is good value and a valid social history of an extraordinary place that we all love, as someone said “remembering with a chuckle.”
